The team is trained to care for individuals who wander during the day or night, exhibit behavioral challenges, remain awake overnight, require oxygen, or are managing diabetes with oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Younger adults under 60 are also accepted when clinically appropriate.

Nursing support is always on call, and an awake night shift oversees safety alongside door alarms and a fenced rear area. All employees undergo background checks. On-site podiatry is available, and caregivers provide total assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help can be arranged for residents who use a walker or wheelchair, need standby supervision, or need a one-person transfer.

Living quarters may include a private bathroom, a kitchenette, cable service, and the option to repaint or decorate—though not every room has each feature. Families can discuss specific room layouts and availability during the admission process.

Meals follow a rotating set menu, but residents may also request made-to-order items at designated times, and snacks are kept on hand throughout the day and evening. Staff monitor portions, fluid intake, and specialized diets to support residents with diabetes and other medical conditions.
