The Heritage at College View provides two levels of licensed care: Assisted Living and Memory Care. Both programs include 24-hour staffing, routine nurse oversight, and individualized service plans that outline medication management, blood-pressure monitoring, glucose checks, and coordination with outside physicians and therapists. In Assisted Living, residents receive help with bathing, dressing, mobility, and other activities of daily living as needed, while still maintaining an emphasis on independence. The Memory Care neighborhood is secured and staffed by caregivers trained in dementia support techniques, and it features structured daily routines designed to reduce anxiety and maintain cognitive function.
Beyond direct medical services, the community offers scheduled physical, occupational, and speech therapy on-site through outside providers, along with regular fall-risk assessments and care plan reviews. Transportation is available for medical appointments, and the staff arranges pharmacy services, lab work, and imaging when ordered by a physician. An emergency response system connects residents to staff at any hour, and families receive regular status updates as part of the facility’s communication protocol. Wellness programming—such as exercise classes modified for varying abilities and cognitive games for memory support—is integrated into the weekly calendar to complement clinical care.
Residences range from studios to one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with a private bathroom, basic cable, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Some units add kitchenettes, walk-in showers, or expanded closet space, while a limited number include patios or courtyard views; not all accommodations have all the features. Emergency pull cords or pendants link directly to staff, and weekly housekeeping and linen services are standard. Furnished respite suites are also available for short stays, subject to availability.
The culinary staff prepares three meals daily, served in a central dining room with tableside service, and offers alternate entrée choices at every meal. A dietitian reviews menus to ensure they meet nutritional guidelines and can be modified for physician-prescribed diets such as low-sodium, diabetic, or mechanically soft. Snacks and beverages are accessible throughout the day, and residents may reserve a private dining space for family gatherings. Meal times are staggered to accommodate personal schedules, and tray service is provided during illness or upon request.
