MorningStar Senior Living of Billings offers three distinct living options—Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living—within the same campus. The Memory Care neighborhood is structured for residents who wander in the morning or evening and for those with a history of elopement. Staff members are trained to support early to advanced dementia, providing continuous monitoring and individualized engagement. Assisted Living residents receive scheduled help with activities of daily living, while Independent Living residents enjoy the freedom of apartment living with the reassurance that higher-level care is available on site if needs change.
Medical oversight is anchored by an RN/LPN on staff and a nurse available by phone around the clock. On-site clinical services include incontinence management, ambulatory and hospice care, medication management, and visits from occupational therapists, physical therapists, and podiatrists. Apartments are equipped for full-assistance bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting when required. Transfer support ranges from standby assistance for walkers to one- or two-person transfers for wheelchair users, ensuring residents can move safely throughout the community.
Accommodations vary and may feature a private bathroom, cable service, and regular housekeeping, though not every unit contains every feature. A private dining room is available for family gatherings or special occasions, and daily menus accommodate personal dietary requirements. Housekeeping and laundry are provided for Independent Living residents, removing routine chores while allowing them to maintain an active lifestyle.
The community’s amenity package is broad. Residents have access to wheelchair-friendly common areas, a barber and beauty shop, an exercise room, a movie room, a wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, a concierge, a library, and a pool. Pets are allowed. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
