Anthology of Wildwood offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, allowing residents to move into a level of service that matches their needs without leaving the community. The Memory Care program is designed to accommodate individuals with early-stage memory loss through advanced dementia, incorporating safeguards for wandering and elopement while still encouraging engagement.
The community maintains an RN or LPN on staff and a nurse on call 24 hours a day to oversee care for residents who wander, exhibit behavioral challenges, stay up all night, or require wound care, oxygen, special diets, or diabetic management—including oral medications, insulin injections, and sliding-scale protocols. Background-checked team members, an activity director, Wander Guard technology, and a PERS alert system support resident safety. On-site podiatry reduces the need for outside appointments. Staff can provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained to perform walker and wheelchair support, standby supervision, and one-person transfers.
Private apartments are available in several layouts, some with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnished options, independent temperature controls, cable hookups, and the flexibility to paint or decorate. Because features vary by unit, families should confirm specific details during a tour to ensure the accommodation matches the resident’s preferences.
Meals are prepared to order, and the kitchen team can modify menus to meet physician-ordered or preference-based dietary plans, including low-sodium, diabetic, and other special diets. Staff coordinate closely with nursing to monitor intake and adjust meal plans as medical conditions or tastes change.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, wellness center, internet access, and regularly scheduled religious services. Scheduled transportation and proximity to public transit support appointments and outings. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
