The Arbors at South Pointe offers dedicated Memory Care designed for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Care plans address cognitive support alongside related medical needs, including diabetes management, so insulin monitoring and blood-sugar checks are integrated into each resident’s daily routine.
The community is fully secured to reduce the risk of wandering and ensure resident safety. Licensed staff provide on-site incontinence care, hospice coordination for end-of-life support, and assistance with ambulatory needs such as transfers or mobility devices. Registered nurses are available for routine assessments and to adjust care plans as conditions change.
Residences include a selection of private or companion suites. All layouts are pet friendly and give residents access to landscaped outdoor areas, though individual units vary and may not include every feature offered in the community.
Three meals are served daily, with kosher and vegetarian menus available by request. Portions and carbohydrate counts are monitored to support residents with diabetes, and snacks are scheduled to fit individual care plans.
An activity center is available for structured programs, group events, and individual recreation, giving residents opportunities for social engagement and cognitive stimulation.
