Garden Villas in Town & Country offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living. Residents who need daily clinical oversight can receive medication management for behavioral issues as well as diabetes care that covers oral medications, insulin injections and sliding-scale dosing. The community is also prepared to support individuals with mild dementia who do not require a secured memory-care unit. Independent Living residents may choose optional medication-monitoring services, allowing them to stay in a less restrictive setting while still having professional oversight when needed.
Around-the-clock clinical staffing includes an RN or LPN and an awake night nurse, backed by door alarms, pull-cords and personal emergency response systems that alert staff 24/7. Licensed podiatry visits and a dedicated therapy room are available on site. Caregivers provide full assistance with bathing and dressing, some physical help with eating and toileting, and standby or hands-on support for transfers using walkers or wheelchairs. All employees undergo background checks, and security personnel remain on the premises at all times. An activity director coordinates daily programs that complement each resident’s care plan.
Accommodations range from studio to larger apartment layouts. Some units include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service and the option to paint or decorate, but not every floor plan contains all of these features. Weekly housekeeping, linen service and personal laundry are included for Assisted Living, while Independent Living residents can elect housekeeping, laundry and a monthly meal plan as à-la-carte services.
Three meals a day follow a set menu with dietitian oversight, and staff can modify textures or portion sizes to fit medical requirements. Snacks are available throughout the day, and meals may be delivered to the apartment when a resident is ill or prefers in-room dining. Independent Living participants who purchase the meal plan take their meals in the same dining room but may choose fewer meals per day.
Additional amenities include resident parking, exterior smoking areas, pet-friendly policies, full wheelchair accessibility, an on-site barber and beauty shop, exercise room, wellness center, internet access and regularly scheduled religious services.
