Staff can provide hands-on help with bathing and dressing, and they remain on call if a resident using a walker or wheelchair needs a safe transfer. Eating and toileting are considered self-care activities here, so personnel monitor rather than perform those tasks.

Residential suites are offered in several layouts; some have private bathrooms, pre-selected furnishings, and walls that residents may paint or decorate.
