The Arbors at Parkside offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, giving families two levels of long-term residential support under one roof. Residents who need help with activities of daily living receive scheduled assistance from trained staff, while individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias live in a secure memory neighborhood designed to reduce confusion and encourage safe independence.
Additional medical support is delivered on-site to minimize outside appointments. Licensed nurses oversee medication management, incontinence care, and routine health monitoring, and a visiting doctor is available for examinations. Physical, occupational, and speech therapists provide rehabilitative sessions without residents leaving the building. Diabetes management, ambulatory care, and podiatry services are coordinated as needed, and the team can accommodate hospice care or a respite stay for short-term recovery.
Apartments are pet-friendly and air-conditioned, with layouts that may include kitchenettes, Wi-Fi access, wheelchair-accessible showers, and handicap-adapted features. Some residences overlook outdoor areas, and common spaces such as the central fireplace lounge and piano room add everyday gathering spots. Because floor plans vary, not every unit includes every listed feature.
Meals are prepared on site and served throughout the day so residents can eat on their own schedule. The culinary team offers low-sodium, no-sugar, and vegetarian choices, and guests can join for meals when arranged in advance. All menu items are designed to meet senior nutritional guidelines while still accommodating doctor-ordered diets.
Residents have access to an activity center, library and computer lounge, swimming pool, raised garden beds, chair yoga and other fitness programs, as well as social outings, live music, birthday celebrations, and a jacuzzi. Outdoor areas are open for walking or relaxing between scheduled events.
