Woodbury Senior Living offers three levels of residency—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—and is equipped to manage a wide range of medical needs. Residents who wander during the day or night, those at risk for elopement, individuals who are wakeful throughout the night, and persons living with advanced dementia can all be safely accommodated. Clinical support extends to wound care, oxygen therapy, specialized diets, and diabetes management, including oral medications, insulin injections, and sliding-scale regimens.
Around-the-clock oversight is reinforced by RNs and LPNs on staff, an on-call nurse 24/7, awake night shifts, background-checked employees, and a PERS system that alerts staff. Security measures include a fenced rear area, door alarms, and WanderGuard technology. The community brings podiatry, audiology, dental services, and a therapy room on-site, reducing the need for outside appointments. Full assistance is available for bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and staff can handle transfers ranging from standby supervision to two-person or Hoyer-lift support.
Residences vary but may feature private bathrooms, kitchenettes, individual climate controls, and the option for residents to paint or decorate their rooms. Cable service and scheduled laundry are offered, though not every unit includes every feature. Independent Living apartments receive weekly housekeeping, laundry service, and a monthly meal plan so residents can keep household tasks to a minimum.
Dining offers a set menu at each meal plus an on-order option for those who want variety, with snacks available throughout the day. A private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings. Dietary management supports gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chopped, puréed, and thickened-liquid diets to meet physician orders or personal preference.
Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise and wellness rooms, a movie theater, internet access, communal gardens, a library, and on-site religious services. Transportation is available through scheduled shuttles for medical appointments, and public transit stops are nearby. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
