Sartell – Edgewood provides two primary levels of care: assisted living and a dedicated memory care program designed for residents living with moderate dementia. Both care types are supported by individualized service plans that adjust as health needs change, allowing residents to remain in the community as long as care requirements fall within the scope of assisted living or moderate dementia support.
The building maintains awake staff members throughout the night, and caregivers are trained to manage needs related to bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting when a resident requires some physical assistance. Routine health monitoring, medication management, and coordination with outside medical providers are available. The community uses controlled access points and regular safety checks to help ensure resident security.
Apartments range from studios to larger one-bedroom layouts. Features such as private bathrooms with step-in showers, in-unit climate controls, emergency call systems, and basic kitchenettes are offered, though not every unit contains every feature. Housekeeping and laundry services are available on a scheduled basis, and maintenance staff handle repairs.
Residents receive three meals daily in a communal dining room with table service. Menus are planned to meet common dietary guidelines, and modified textures or specialized diets can be arranged when prescribed by a physician. Snacks and beverages are available between meals, and families may join residents for meals with advance notice.
On-site amenities include a wellness center for routine exercise or therapy sessions, high-speed internet access in common areas and most apartments, a library stocked with fiction and reference materials, and organized special-interest clubs that meet regularly for activities such as book discussions or craft projects.
