Monroe Village offers three levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so residents can move between services without changing communities. The Memory Care program is designed for residents who wander or are at risk for elopement and it accepts individuals with advanced dementia conditions. Medication management, full personal-care assistance, and ongoing health monitoring are available across all care levels, allowing residents to receive support that matches their changing needs.
The clinical team includes RNs and LPNs with a nurse on site 24 hours a day. Staff members undergo background checks and an awake night shift monitors residents when most incidents occur. Safety systems include door alarms, pull cords that alert staff or dial 911, and personal emergency response devices with both staff and 911 notification options. On-site medical services such as podiatry and a dedicated therapy room reduce the need for outside appointments. Full-assist help is available with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and transfer help can be provided for residents who use walkers, wheelchairs, or require standby or one-person assists.
Apartments may include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, independent temperature controls, cable service, and in-unit laundry. Residents may paint or decorate their spaces to suit personal taste, but not every unit contains every feature. Housekeeping and linen service are provided, and staff can take over laundry tasks if needed. Dining features a set menu plus an on-order option at each meal, snacks are available throughout the day, and specialized diets can be accommodated.
Independent Living residents have access to medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, laundry service, and a monthly meal plan so they can add support without giving up an active lifestyle.
Community amenities include resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, pet-friendly policies, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, exercise and movie rooms, a wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, a library, an indoor pool, special-interest clubs, and shuttle service for medical appointments. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
