Saint Therese of Corcoran provides assisted-living services designed to support residents who need help with the activities of daily living while maintaining as much independence as possible. Licensed nurses oversee medication management, chronic-condition monitoring, and routine health assessments, and they are on call around the clock for urgent concerns. Direct-care staff are available 24/7 to assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and continence care. Residents have access to on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and each apartment is equipped with an emergency response system that links directly to the care team.
Beyond the essential medical services, the community coordinates on-site visits from podiatry, dental, and vision specialists, schedules transportation to outside physician appointments, and offers pharmacy delivery and lab-draw services. Regular wellness clinics track blood pressure, weight, and other vital indicators, while exercise and balance classes supervised by therapy personnel aim to reduce fall risk. Social-services staff assist with insurance questions and transitions to higher levels of care, and short-stay respite and hospice coordination can be arranged when needed.
Accommodations include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. All layouts feature wide doorways, step-in showers with grab bars, and emergency pull cords; some also provide kitchenettes, in-unit laundry, walk-in closets, or private patios and balconies, but not all accommodations have all the features. Weekly housekeeping, linen service, maintenance, individual climate control, and cable and internet connections are standard. Small pets are allowed; it's a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
Residents receive three daily meals prepared on site, with menus developed by a registered dietitian and choices that can accommodate low-sodium, diabetic, and other physician-ordered diets. Meals are served restaurant-style in the main dining room, and a private dining area is available for family gatherings. Snacks and beverages are offered throughout the day, and tray service is provided during periods of illness or recovery. Some apartments include kitchenettes for light cooking, though not all accommodations have all the features.
