Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center provides two levels of residential care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—and is equipped to manage a wide range of health needs. Licensed nurses coordinate care plans that cover oxygen therapy, specialized diets, and diabetes management for residents who use either oral medications or insulin injections. The community is staffed by RNs and LPNs, supported by a nurse who remains on call around the clock. Residents with mild dementia receive tailored support within the Memory Care program, and an on-site podiatrist conducts regular foot-care clinics to reduce the need for off-site appointments.
Daily hands-on assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and the team can support mobility with walkers, wheelchairs, standby supervision, or a one-person transfer. An awake night staff, background-checked employees, and 24-hour security with alarmed doors, pull-cord alerts, and personal emergency response systems help maintain resident safety. An activity director manages programming seven days a week, and clinical staff can be reached at any hour through internal call systems.
Residences are designed for practicality and comfort. Floor plans may include a private bathroom, a compact kitchenette, individual climate controls, and cable service, although specific features vary by unit. Housekeeping is scheduled regularly, and the community handles routine laundry, freeing residents from daily chores.
Meals are prepared with both set menus and made-to-order options. The kitchen fulfills diet modifications such as mechanical-chopped, puréed, thickened-liquid, or vegetarian meals, and snacks are stocked throughout the day. Special diet requests ordered by a physician, including low-sodium or diabetic guidelines, are integrated into each resident’s nutrition plan without additional charges.
Common-area amenities include wheelchair-accessible pathways, a barber and beauty salon, a movie room, community-wide internet access, landscaped gardens, an on-site chapel for religious services, a library, and a variety of special-interest clubs. Scheduled transportation is provided for medical appointments and errands.
