Robbinswood – Northcrest Campus offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, with programming that can accommodate residents living with early memory loss through advanced dementia. Clinical staff are prepared to monitor and respond to wandering behaviors day or night, potential elopement, agitation or other behavioral challenges, and residents who remain awake throughout the night. Nurses manage wound care, oxygen therapy, and a full range of diabetic needs, including oral medications, injections, and sliding-scale insulin.
Around-the-clock staffing includes an RN or LPN on site and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. Team members remain awake on the night shift, and every employee must pass a background check. The building has door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, and continuous staff coverage. Residents can be seen on campus by visiting podiatrists, and a dedicated therapy room is available for rehabilitation sessions. Caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained for all levels of transfers—from supervised walking to two-person or Hoyer lift moves.
Apartments may be equipped with cable service, and routine housekeeping keeps living spaces clean, but not every unit includes every feature. The campus offers a choice of floor plans that can be personalized with familiar furnishings to help residents feel at ease.
Dining options include a standard menu served three times daily, an on-order alternative for individualized meals, and snacks that are always available. Residents may eat in the main dining room, request tray service in their apartments, or reserve the private dining room for family gatherings. The kitchen staff can honor special diets, pureed meals, and thickened liquids as prescribed.
Residents have access to parking, wheelchair-friendly common areas, a barber and beauty shop, movie room, library, communal gardens, internet connectivity, and on-site religious services. Outdoor smoking areas are designated, and well-behaved pets are welcome; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
