Wadhams Creek Senior Community is licensed as a residential care home and is equipped to manage a wide range of medical needs. Residents with behavioral issues, oxygen requirements, special diets, and both oral- and injection-controlled diabetes are supported. The team is also experienced in caring for people with advanced dementia, adjusting plans as conditions progress.
Around-the-clock oversight is provided by RNs and LPNs, backed up by background-checked caregivers, a dedicated activity director, and 24-hour staffed security with door alarms and pull-cord alerts. On-site services include podiatry, hospice care, full medication management, occupational and physical therapy, and visiting physicians. Staff can supply full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they are trained to handle transfers ranging from walker or wheelchair support to two-person and Hoyer-lift moves, including bed-bound care.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, some furnished and some ready for personal furniture. Selected rooms provide cable service, Wi-Fi, and handicap-accessible showers. Housekeeping, laundry, and all utilities—including heat, electricity, water, and internet—are bundled in the monthly rate. Not every room contains every listed feature, so families should confirm specific accommodations during a tour.
Residents receive three home-cooked meals each day, prepared in an open kitchen where menu adjustments for diabetic, vegetarian, dairy-free, mechanical-chop, purée, or thickened-liquid diets are routine. Snacks are available between meals, and a private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings.
Community amenities include wheelchair-accessible common areas, an on-site barber and beauty shop, 24-hour surveillance cameras paired with an emergency call system, and a smoke-free environment.
