Eagle’s Nest operates as both an assisted living residence and a residential care home, giving families two levels of licensed support under one roof. Staff members are trained to manage special diets and to monitor residents who control diabetes with oral medications. Care teams are also experienced with the needs that come with moderate dementia, offering guidance and routines that reduce confusion and promote safety.
Safety protocols supplement that clinical focus. All employees undergo background checks, an awake night shift is in place, and staff remain on-site around the clock. Residents can summon help through in-room pull cords, and on-site podiatry visits reduce the need for outside appointments. Direct care includes full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby support to one-person lifts, and team members are accustomed to working with walkers and wheelchairs.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, and some come furnished to simplify the move-in process. Select rooms include cable service. Housekeeping is provided, and scheduled laundry keeps personal clothing and linens clean.
Meals follow a set menu prepared by kitchen staff, but accommodations are made for physician-ordered diet modifications and for personal preferences whenever possible. Consistent meal times and staff oversight support residents who have difficulty self-managing nutrition.
Residents can bring small pets, enjoy hair care in the on-site barber and beauty shop, and spend time in the communal gardens for fresh air and light exercise. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
