Beaumont Commons – Dearborn offers both Assisted Living and Independent Living, giving residents the option to choose the level of daily support that best fits their needs. The community accepts adults under 60 and can accommodate residents who manage diabetes with oral medications. Staff members are trained to work with individuals experiencing advanced dementia, and care plans are adjusted as conditions progress to ensure safety and health stability.
Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses are on staff, supported by an activity director and 24-hour security personnel. Each apartment is equipped with a personal emergency response system that alerts staff at any time of day. On-site podiatry is available, and caregiving teams provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to two-person or bed-bound transfers, with equipment for walkers and wheelchairs readily available.
Residences vary in size and layout, and not every unit includes every feature. Options may include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, Wi-Fi, cable TV, air conditioning, decks, balconies or patios, fireplaces, and views of landscaped outdoor areas such as a butterfly garden. Pet-friendly policies, parking, and common areas with a piano or organ and a central fireplace create additional flexibility and comfort for residents and their guests.
Meals are prepared by a professional chef and served three times daily in a restaurant-style dining room, with staff available to modify textures or portions as needed. Guest meals are offered so visiting family members can dine on campus, and residents may choose between daily specials and standard menu items.
The campus is fully wheelchair accessible and features a barber and beauty shop, movie room, wellness center, library and dedicated spaces for on-site religious services. Scheduled transportation helps residents reach local appointments and shopping venues. Medication management and monitoring are provided in coordination with each resident’s physician to maintain consistent treatment plans.
