Allegria Village offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care on the same campus, allowing residents to move between levels of support without leaving familiar surroundings. The health team can manage behavioral issues, complex wound care, oxygen therapy, special diets, diabetes (both oral medication and insulin injections), and the needs of residents younger than 60. Memory Care staff are trained to address advanced dementia conditions, and medication management is available for every care level, including monitoring for residents who live independently.
Care is delivered by an on-site RN or LPN at all times, backed by 24-hour security and a pull-cord and PERS system that signals staff immediately. Background-checked caregivers provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained in a range of transfers—from standby help with a walker to two-person or Hoyer-lift moves for bed-bound residents. On-site medical services include podiatry, dentistry, and a therapy room, and an activity director coordinates daily engagement tailored to each person’s abilities.
Studio and one-bedroom layouts are available; many include a private bathroom, basic furnishings, independent temperature controls, cable, and in-unit laundry, although not every apartment has all of these features. Residents may paint or decorate their space, and weekly housekeeping is included. Independent Living residents receive housekeeping and laundry service as well as medication-management monitoring so they can remain self-sufficient while having support close by.
Meals follow a set menu with dietitian oversight to accommodate doctor-ordered modifications such as low-sodium, diabetic, or texture-altered plans. Snacks are available between meals, and staff provide total assistance with eating for those who need it. The dining team coordinates with nursing to ensure diet orders match each resident’s current clinical requirements.
Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, fitness center, movie room, wellness center, library, indoor all-season pool, putting green, communal gardens, and rentable event space that seats about 60 people. Scheduled transportation, concierge service, free Wi-Fi and cable TV, special-interest clubs, and on-site religious services are also provided. Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas, and pets are welcome; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. A personalized care plan is created for each resident and reviewed regularly to keep goals on track.
