Bristol Manor is a residential care home designed to assist adults who need ongoing medical oversight. The staff can care for residents who wander, present behavioral issues, require wound management, oxygen therapy, special diets, or diabetes supervision whether on oral medications, injections, or a sliding scale. Care is also available for individuals under 60 and those living with moderate dementia. Residents benefit from on-site services that include incontinence care, ambulatory and memory support, dentist visits, hospice coordination, medication management, nursing oversight, occupational and physical therapy, and podiatry.
Care is delivered around the clock, with an awake night shift and security staff on site 24 hours a day. The team provides full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to one- or two-person assist, walker or wheelchair support, and services for those who are bed bound. The facility’s structure and staffing are organized to maintain consistent monitoring, reduce fall risks, and respond quickly to medical changes.
Private and companion rooms are available. Many are furnished and may include cable service, housekeeping, and scheduled laundry, though availability of these features can vary by room and occupancy status. Families can confirm specific room details during a tour.
Meals follow a set menu that is planned to meet nutritional guidelines, with snacks offered between meals. The kitchen can prepare mechanical-chopped or puréed textures and manage physician-ordered diet modifications, including low-sodium, diabetic, and other specialized plans.
Common areas are wheelchair accessible, and residents have access to internet service for email, video calls, and entertainment.
