Northpointe Woods offers three levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a secure Memory Care setting—so residents can remain in one community even if their needs change. Clinical support addresses diabetes management, short-term respite stays, and on-site speech therapy, and the team is trained to serve residents with advanced dementia. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on the premises, and a nurse is on call around the clock, giving families a direct line to clinical oversight at all hours.
Additional safeguards include comprehensive background checks for staff, awake night-shift coverage, and 24-hour security with door alarms, pull cords, and personal emergency response systems that can alert staff or dial 911 automatically. On-site services bring physical, occupational, and speech therapists, hospice providers, podiatry, medication management, incontinence and ambulatory care, and full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Residents who use walkers or wheelchairs, need standby support, or require a one-person transfer receive the appropriate help throughout the day.
Apartments are designed for convenience, offering private baths, in-room temperature controls, cable access, and regular housekeeping, although individual units may not include every listed feature. Scheduled laundry service is included, and Independent Living residents can opt for stand-alone housekeeping and laundry packages.
Meals are prepared to order with diet modifications available, and snacks are accessible at any time. Residents may dine in the restaurant-style room, request tray service in their apartments, or reserve a private dining room for guests. Independent Living residents participate in a monthly meal plan that balances flexibility with predictable budgeting.
Amenities on the campus include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty salon, exercise room, wellness center, library, internet access, and scheduled transportation for errands and appointments. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
