The Parc at Harbor View Senior Living provides three levels of care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a Memory Care program built to serve residents with early-stage memory loss through advanced dementia. For individuals who wander during the day or night, staff follow protocols to reduce risk and respond quickly, and the community is prepared to address elopement behaviors. Clinical oversight includes regular medication management, with licensed staff coordinating physician orders and monitoring effectiveness. Residents with complex cognitive or physical needs receive individualized plans aimed at maintaining dignity and stability as conditions change.
Nighttime coverage is fully awake, giving families confidence that urgent needs are met without delay. On-site medical support extends to incontinence management, ambulatory care, hospice coordination, and podiatry visits. For Memory Care residents, every area is designed to limit confusion and support recall, while the community can accept most mobility levels by accommodating walkers, wheelchairs, standby assistance, and one-person transfers. Trained caregivers provide some physical help with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, ensuring residents retain as much independence as possible.
Private studio and one-bedroom layouts are available, and some units feature a kitchenette, a private bathroom, or both. Residents are invited to paint or decorate their space within safety guidelines, although not every accommodation has the same features. A set menu offers three daily meals served restaurant-style, and snacks are routinely stocked so residents can grab something between dining times. Dietary adjustments can be made when clinically necessary.
Independent Living residents receive weekly housekeeping and a monthly meal plan that covers a set number of meals in the main dining room; they may also choose to prepare light fare in their kitchenette. The community’s approach keeps services optional, letting Independent Living tenants add or remove support as needs change without relocating to another setting.
Shared amenities include full wheelchair access throughout the building, an on-site barber and beauty shop, a movie room for regular screenings, communal gardens for outdoor relaxation, scheduled transportation, and proximity to public transit for residents who go out on their own.
