Cedarbrook Village at Ware provides three distinct levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—allowing residents to remain on one campus even as their needs change. The community is prepared to support adults with moderate dementia and can handle a range of medical requirements, including oxygen therapy, special diet preparation, and diabetes management for residents on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale regimens. Younger adults under 60 who require care are also accepted, making the setting flexible for varied age groups.
A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on staff, and a nurse is on call around the clock. All employees pass background checks, and an awake night-shift team monitors residents, responding to pull-cord alerts and personal emergency response systems. On-site podiatry visits reduce the need for outside appointments. The staff can provide full assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, and they manage mobility using walkers, wheelchairs, standby help, or one-person transfers. A fenced rear area, activity director, and regular wellness checks add layers of safety and structure.
Apartments offer options such as private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnishings, individual temperature controls, and cable service, although not every apartment includes every feature. Residents may bring personal furniture if they wish. Independent temperature settings help maintain comfort without staff intervention.
Meals are served restaurant-style from set menus, and made-to-order selections are available at each sitting. Snacks are stocked throughout the day, and the kitchen can meet physician-ordered diet modifications for conditions ranging from diabetes to low-sodium requirements. Independent Living residents may select a monthly meal plan and receive weekly housekeeping and laundry services that are separate from the care plans used in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Amenities and conveniences include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, an exercise room, movie room, wellness center, barber and beauty shop, internet access, and on-site religious services. Scheduled transportation helps with errands and medical appointments. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
