The Mariner Marblehead offers three distinct living options—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. Residents who wander or are prone to elopement can be accommodated throughout the day and night, and the community accepts individuals who require oxygen therapy, are under 60, or manage diabetes with oral medications. Advanced dementia conditions are supported within the secure Memory Care neighborhood, and all residents have access to on-site podiatry as well as medication management services.
Care is delivered by an RN or LPN on staff with a nurse on call 24 hours a day. An awake night shift, 24-hour security staff, fenced outdoor areas, pull-cord alerts, and personal emergency response systems help maintain resident safety. Assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting is available for those who need some physical help, and transfers can be performed with a walker, wheelchair, standby supervision, or a one-person assist. An activity director coordinates daily programming designed for each care level.
Apartments may include a private bathroom, kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint and decorate; however, not every unit has every feature. Housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided, and Independent Living residents can receive medication-management monitoring, housekeeping, laundry, and a monthly meal plan.
Dining services feature a set menu at each meal with the option to order alternative selections, along with snacks available throughout the day. A private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings, and the culinary team accommodates diet modifications and specialized meal plans.
Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, concierge, library, and scheduled transportation. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
