The Residence at Riverbend offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care, with programs calibrated for residents who may wander during the day or night, are at risk for elopement, stay up all night, require oxygen, or manage diabetes with oral medications. Care teams are experienced with advanced dementia conditions and can tailor special diets on physician orders. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is on site, with an additional nurse on call around the clock, providing continuous clinical oversight.
Residents receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting when needed, and staff are trained for every level of mobility support—from standby help with a walker to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers. On-site podiatry, audiology, and dental services reduce the need for outside appointments. Safety features include background-checked caregivers, an awake night shift, 24-hour staffed security, alarmed doors, fenced outdoor areas, pull-cord alerts, and optional personal emergency response systems.
Apartments can include a private bathroom, a kitchenette, and independent temperature controls, and the community supplies housekeeping and scheduled laundry services; however, not every unit contains every feature. Independent Living residents have weekly housekeeping and laundry services so they can focus on their own schedules rather than chores.
Dining is flexible: residents may order meals as desired, enjoy all-day snacks, or reserve the private dining room for family gatherings. Menus accommodate physician-prescribed diets, with staff available to assist anyone who needs help eating.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-friendly common areas, a barber and beauty shop, an exercise room, a movie room, a wellness center, internet connectivity, communal gardens, religious services, concierge assistance, a library, special-interest clubs, and scheduled transportation.
