Haverhill Crossings provides three distinct levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—so residents can move between service levels without leaving the community. The Memory Care neighborhood is secured and structured for people living with mild to advanced dementia, while Assisted Living offers help with daily tasks such as medication reminders and personal care. Independent Living residents have the autonomy of a private apartment with the option to add supportive services if needs change.
Clinical oversight includes RN or LPN staff, an awake night shift, and a nurse on call 24 hours a day. The team is trained to manage wandering behaviors, elopement risks, oxygen support, special diets, and diabetes controlled by oral medication; younger adults under 60 can also be served. Podiatry is provided on site. Residents who need hands-on help can receive full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and the staff can accommodate every transfer level—from walkers and one-person assists to mechanical Hoyer lifts and bed-bound care. Safety measures include a fenced courtyard, alarmed doors, in-room pull cords, and wearable emergency pendants, with staff on site around the clock.
Apartments are available in several layouts, and most offer a private bathroom, a kitchenette, independent temperature controls, cable, and furnished options; some allow residents to paint or decorate the space. Weekly housekeeping and scheduled laundry are standard, although not every unit comes with every listed feature.
Dining features a rotating set menu, an on-order option at each meal, all-day snacks, and accommodations for physician-ordered diet modifications. A bistro and a private dining room are available for guests or special events. Independent Living residents can opt for a monthly meal plan, medication-management monitoring, and the same housekeeping services provided to Assisted Living apartments.
Amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, movie room, wellness center, high-speed internet, communal gardens, library, bistro, computer room, demonstration kitchen, general store, recreation room, sunroom, and walking paths. Scheduled transportation is offered for medical appointments and errands. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
