Sherrill House offers skilled nursing care for individuals who need continuous medical oversight. Residents have direct access to respite services for short-term stays, on-site physical therapy for rehabilitation and mobility improvement, and a structured pulmonary rehabilitation program designed to strengthen respiratory function and manage chronic lung conditions.
Beyond these primary services, licensed nurses are on duty around the clock for medication administration and health monitoring. Care plans are reviewed regularly by an interdisciplinary team that includes therapists, social workers, and attending physicians to ensure treatments remain aligned with each resident’s changing needs.
Private and semi-private rooms are available, and some include telephones, cable television, and Wi-Fi. Select units are pet friendly, and several accommodations open to outdoor areas or the landscaped garden. Housekeeping is provided, and limited parking is available for visitors. Not every room contains every feature, so confirming specific details during a tour is recommended.
Three nutritionally balanced meals are served daily in the main dining area, with menus adjusted for physician-ordered diets and personal preferences. Staff members are present to assist residents who need help with seating, meal setup, or modified textures.
Residents can spend time in the activity center, join clubs and social communities, participate in scheduled arts and crafts sessions, or use the library and computer lounge for reading and internet access. Planned social outings to local destinations provide additional opportunities for engagement outside the facility.
