The building is secured with 24-hour staff coverage, background-checked employees, alarmed exits, a fenced courtyard, pull-cords in apartments, and optional personal emergency response systems.

Meals follow a set menu served restaurant-style three times a day, with a private dining room for family gatherings and clinically overseen diet modifications for conditions such as diabetes or dysphagia.
