Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek delivers two levels of care—Assisted Living and Memory Care—within a secured community designed to reduce risk and wandering. Both programs are structured to support residents who need help with activities of daily living, with Memory Care adding routines and cues that address cognitive loss. The campus is equipped for high-acuity residents, including individuals who are non-ambulatory or who require complex medication management, and it accepts hospice support when conditions advance.
Medical services are available on site seven days a week. A registered nurse oversees care plans, and physicians, a podiatrist, occupational and physical therapists, as well as a speech therapist, visit routinely. Diabetes management is offered, including insulin administration and dietary monitoring, and staff are trained in incontinence care. The community also welcomes short-term respite stays, giving families relief while ensuring guests receive the same medication oversight, therapy access, and 24-hour supervision as long-term residents.
Apartments come in several layouts, some on the ground floor for easy access and others with kitchenettes for light meal preparation; not every unit features every amenity listed. Wheelchair-accessible showers, private baths, cable or satellite TV, and Wi-Fi are available in many residences, and select units accommodate weight limits for mechanical lifts. Pets are welcome in designated rooms, and the building offers indoor and outdoor common areas, a TV lounge, library, computer center, and centrally located fireplace. Beauty and barber services, meeting rooms, and on-site parking add to daily convenience.
Meals are prepared by a professional chef and served restaurant-style, with an all-day dining option for those who prefer flexible schedules. The culinary team provides vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-sodium, and no-sugar menus alongside pureed selections for residents with swallowing concerns. Guests can join residents for meals, and a private dining room is available for family events. Room service is offered when illness or personal preference keeps a resident in their apartment, and a café/bistro supplies lighter fare and snacks throughout the day.
Recreational and wellness programming includes an activity center, fitness and stretching classes, yoga and chair yoga, Forever Fit, Wii bowling, light therapy, and indoor and outdoor walking paths. Residents can join clubs focused on books, cards, current events, men’s interests, music, or wine tasting; attend Catholic, Protestant, Christian, and other religious services; or participate in art classes, live music, dance and theater performances, karaoke, trivia, and holiday parties. The community schedules day trips, social outings, BBQs, birthday celebrations, and intergenerational visits, and offers Montessori, reminiscence, and sensory-based programs that align with Memory Care goals. Because pets are allowed, it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
