Gull Creek provides both Assisted Living and secure Memory Care, allowing residents to stay on campus even as their needs progress to advanced dementia. Clinical teams are prepared for residents who wander in the morning or evening, present elopement risk, display combative or other behavioral issues, stay awake through the night, or require wound care, oxygen, or special diets. The community also admits adults under 60 and is equipped to serve diabetics who take oral medications or insulin injections.
An RN or LPN is on staff, with a nurse on call 24 hours a day. All employees undergo background checks, a night-shift staff remains awake, and the building is protected by 24-hour security, door alarms, pull cords, and PERS devices that alert personnel. On-site medical support includes medication management and coordination, high-acuity oversight, hospice, incontinence services, non-ambulatory and ambulatory care, regular physical and occupational therapy, podiatry, and full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Transfer help ranges from standby supervision to one-person assists with walkers or wheelchairs, so residents can be accommodated as mobility changes.
Apartments are offered in several layouts; some include a private bathroom, a kitchenette, individual climate controls, and cable service, while other units feature only a subset of these items. Families can select the configuration that best matches need and budget. Independent Living residents on campus can opt into medication-management monitoring and weekly laundry service, providing extra safety without giving up freedom.
Dining follows a set menu at traditional mealtimes, but residents may also order alternate dishes and request snacks throughout the day. Therapeutic diets are prepared for diabetes, cardiac conditions, and other physician-ordered restrictions, and staff remain available for full feeding assistance when required. This approach lets residents remain nutritionally stable even as care levels evolve.
Amenities include resident parking, designated outdoor smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common rooms, a barber and beauty shop, internet access, communal gardens, and on-site religious services. Scheduled transportation is provided, and the property is close to public transit for those who still travel independently.
