Ashton Grove offers three levels of care to match differing health needs. Independent Living residents enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle with access to on-site medical resources if their circumstances change. Assisted Living adds structured help with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and routine health monitoring performed by trained staff. The Memory Care neighborhood is secured and staffed by caregivers who receive ongoing training in dementia support; residents benefit from tailored routines, behavior management techniques, and oversight designed to reduce confusion and promote safety.
Health-related services extend beyond basic supervision. Licensed nurses are on duty around the clock, and each resident receives an individualized care plan that is reviewed regularly with input from physicians, nurses, and families. Rehabilitation therapies—physical, occupational, and speech—can be arranged on site, and transportation is available for outside specialist appointments. An emergency call system links residents directly to staff, and electronic medication administration records help reduce dosing errors. Regular wellness checks, coordination with hospice or home health agencies when appropriate, and immunization clinics round out the clinical support system.
Accommodations range from studios to two-bedroom apartments, each designed with senior safety in mind. Standard features include step-in showers with grab bars, lever-style door handles, and visual alarm options for the hearing impaired. Many apartments add kitchenettes, private patios or balconies, in-unit laundry, and walk-in closets, though not all accommodations have all these features. Weekly housekeeping, laundry service, maintenance, basic cable, and most utilities are bundled in the monthly fee, and the community is built with wide corridors and elevator access for ease of mobility.
Dining services provide three daily meals prepared on site, with registered dietitian oversight to meet nutritional guidelines and physician-ordered diets. Residents order from rotating menus in a restaurant-style dining room, and flexible meal times allow for individual schedules. Pureed or mechanically soft options, as well as low-sugar and low-sodium selections, are available upon request. A separate, quieter dining area and adaptive utensils are offered to Memory Care residents to reduce distractions and encourage steady intake. Grab-and-go items and snacks are stocked throughout the day, and a private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings.
