The Windsor of Lawrence provides two levels of residential support: Assisted Living for adults who need help with daily routines and a secure Memory Care program for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. Clinical oversight addresses diabetes management, and families can arrange respite or short-term stays when temporary care is required. Residents have scheduled access to physicians and on-site speech therapy, allowing concerns such as swallowing difficulties or communication challenges to be treated without leaving the building.
Additional medical services are delivered on campus to limit travel and reduce disruption. Hospice care, podiatry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, massage therapy, ambulatory assistance, and incontinence support are available. Medications are stored, dispensed, and monitored by trained staff, and a licensed nurse is on-site to coordinate care plans. The Memory Care neighborhood is a secured environment designed specifically for cognitive loss, operating as a separate, staff-intensive setting that emphasizes safety while promoting independence.
Apartments range from studio to companion suites. Depending on the floor plan selected, residences may feature kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible showers, individual air conditioning, cable or satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony, deck, or patio. Shared indoor spaces include a central fireplace, piano area, and multiple outdoor courtyards, and parking is available for residents who still drive. The community is pet-friendly, but not every unit comes with every feature listed.
Dining is overseen by a professional chef and served restaurant-style, with an all-day dining model that allows residents to choose when they eat. Three nutritionally balanced meals are offered daily, and guest meals can be arranged so visitors can dine at the same table. Menu adaptations accommodate therapeutic diets, and staff track intake to help maintain each resident’s health goals.
Daily life is supported by an activity center, library and computer lounge, indoor and outdoor walking paths, raised garden beds, and a swimming pool. Residents can join clubs, attend social outings, and participate in scheduled events such as karaoke, live music, birthday parties, dances, and reminiscence or sensory-based programs. Montessori-style activities are also available, helping to maintain cognitive function through structured yet engaging tasks.
