Eastern Star Masonic Home provides three levels of residence—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—so individuals can choose the amount of daily assistance that suits their needs and adjust as circumstances change. Each care type is staffed to handle routine activities of daily living, medication oversight, and cognitive support for memory-care residents, ensuring that personal care and supervision are matched to the resident’s functional level.
Medical resources on campus are structured to address both ongoing and short-term health issues. Licensed nurses are available, an emergency call system links residents to staff around the clock, and on-site physical and speech therapy programs help residents maintain or regain functionality after illness or injury. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are integrated into the care plan, and the community is licensed to offer continuing care so that residents can remain on campus even if their health needs intensify over time.
Residences range from private apartments to larger units, and they are set on landscaped grounds with outdoor sitting areas and garden space. Standard utilities, central air conditioning, cable television, Wi-Fi, window treatments, and wall-to-wall carpeting are available in many units, though not every accommodation includes every feature. Housekeeping is provided, and parking is offered for residents who still drive.
Meals are prepared on site and served three times daily, with menus designed to meet common dietary guidelines and physician-ordered restrictions when required. Between meals, healthy snacks are available so residents can manage blood-sugar levels or simply avoid skipped meals.
An activity center anchors daily programming that includes arts and crafts sessions, live entertainment, and scheduled TV or movie nights. Residents can join clubs and small communities built around common interests, and a library and computer lounge supports reading, internet access, and informal gatherings.
