Mill-Pond offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care, allowing residents to transition between support levels without changing communities. Short-term respite stays are available, and team members tailor care plans that can include diabetes monitoring, progressive levels of care, and on-site physical therapy. The goal is to give each resident the right mix of daily assistance and clinical oversight while maintaining as much personal independence as possible.
Medical support is reinforced by an emergency call system that links residents with staff around the clock. On-site services extend to hospice care, IV therapy, wound management, speech and occupational therapy, ambulatory and incontinence care, pain and tracheostomy management, and massage therapy. Nurses coordinate medications, pharmacy deliveries, and work with outside physicians. Laundry and dry-cleaning, family counseling, and a wellness program addressing arthritis and general fitness round out an approach designed to keep residents medically stable and engaged.
Apartments are available in multiple layouts, and many include features such as private kitchenettes, walk-in showers, individual climate controls, cable TV, phone service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Utilities—heat, air conditioning, electricity, water, sewer, and garbage—are covered in the monthly fee. Select residences have views of landscaped grounds or direct access to outdoor areas, and parking is available for those who drive. Housekeeping, pet-friendly policies, and intergenerational programs are offered community-wide, though not every unit contains every feature.
Three daily meals are prepared on site and served restaurant style, with alternate entrée choices and accommodations for special diets. Between meals, healthy snacks are available. The dining staff works closely with clinical teams to ensure nutritional needs align with each resident’s care plan, whether that involves carbohydrate-controlled menus for diabetes management or texture-modified options for those in speech therapy.
Residents have access to a library and computer lounge, an activity center, organized clubs and communities, and regular social outings. A swimming pool supports both recreation and low-impact exercise, while structured health and wellness programs encourage ongoing participation in fitness and preventive care.
