Eedencrest at The Tuscany is licensed for assisted-living care and is staffed to handle the daily medical and personal needs typical of that level of service. A registered nurse oversees individualized care plans, medication management, and routine health monitoring. Certified caregivers are on duty around the clock to help with bathing, dressing, mobility, and other activities of daily living, and each apartment is equipped with an emergency call system for rapid response. The community arranges on-site visits from physicians, podiatrists, and therapy providers so many routine clinical services can be delivered without leaving the building.
Beyond direct medical support, the community coordinates transportation to outside medical appointments, schedules regular wellness checks, and offers exercise and fall-prevention programs designed for older adults. Staff track vital signs and communicate changes in condition to residents’ physicians and families to support early intervention when needed. Housekeeping, linen service, and routine maintenance are included so residents can focus on their health, and a concierge can help arrange ancillary services such as home health, hospice, or specialized rehabilitation if those needs arise.
Residents choose from studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments. Floor plans vary, and not all accommodations have every feature, but options may include kitchenettes, walk-in showers with grab bars, individual climate controls, cable television hookups, and step-free layouts. Basic utilities, weekly housekeeping, and laundry service are provided, and staff perform safety checks as part of normal rounds. Common spaces such as lounges, a fitness area, and landscaped outdoor seating give residents additional room to spend time with visitors or participate in activities.
Three meals a day are prepared on site and served in a communal dining room, with menu selections that accommodate diabetic, low-sodium, and other physician-ordered diets. Snacks and beverages are available between meals, and tray service to the apartment can be arranged when a resident is recovering from illness or prefers to dine privately, although this option may not be included with every accommodation. The culinary staff consults with dietitians to balance nutrition with resident preferences, and seasonal menus aim to provide variety while tracking individual dietary plans.
