Paddock Springs offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, each overseen by licensed nurses who are on-site or on-call around the clock. Residents in Assisted Living receive help with medication administration, bathing, dressing, and other daily tasks, while still retaining as much independence as they can manage safely. The Memory Care neighborhood is secured and staffed by caregivers trained in dementia support techniques; individualized care plans address cognitive changes, behavior management, and specialized safety needs. Routine physician visits, therapy coordination, and 24-hour health monitoring are built into both service lines, so changes in condition are identified quickly and communicated to family and primary providers.
Beyond core medical oversight, the community provides on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy through outside partners, short-term respite stays, and coordination of hospice services when needed. Residents have access to a full emergency call system, scheduled transportation for medical appointments, and pharmacy delivery. Care conferences with family are held regularly to keep care plans current. A secure courtyard for Memory Care residents allows supervised outdoor time, and fall-reduction programs are available for those at higher risk. These resources aim to reduce hospital readmissions and support residents in place whenever possible.
Accommodations range from studio layouts to larger one-bedroom apartments. Each unit includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, emergency pull cords, individual climate controls, and basic cable hookups, while some units add kitchenettes, in-room refrigerators, or patio access. Housekeeping, linen service, and maintenance are handled by staff, and residents can furnish and decorate to personal preference. Not all accommodations have all the features mentioned, so it’s important to review specific floor plans during a tour.
Residents receive three daily meals prepared on-site, served restaurant-style in the main dining room. Menus are planned with input from a registered dietitian and can be modified for diabetic, low-sodium, or mechanical-soft diets. For Memory Care, the staff offers smaller portions, adaptive utensils, and cueing to encourage adequate intake. Snacks and beverages are available throughout the day, and special requests are accommodated when possible. Families can reserve a private dining space for celebrations, and room-service style delivery is offered during illness or recovery.
