The Memory Care neighborhood is designed specifically for moderate dementia conditions, using secured areas and cognitive-supportive layouts to reduce confusion and wandering.
Beyond medical oversight, staff provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, and they are trained in wound care, incontinence programs, and ambulatory support. Transfers are accommodated for residents who walk independently with supervision, use walkers or wheelchairs, or require one-person or two-person assistance. Security personnel and care staff remain on site around the clock, and keypad-controlled entry points support both safety and freedom of movement for residents.
Apartments are offered in several floor plans; select units include a private bathroom, independent temperature controls, and cable access, though not every accommodation has every feature. Maintenance, weekly housekeeping, and laundry or dry-cleaning services are handled by staff to keep living areas orderly and functional.
Meals are served three times daily with both set menus and made-to-order options, and snacks are available throughout the day. The culinary team can adapt meals for diabetic, low-sodium, or other physician-ordered diet modifications. Residents in the independent living portion of the campus can choose medication-management monitoring, an add-on service that tracks prescriptions and coordinates refills without moving to a higher level of care.
Daily life is supported by resident parking, landscaped grounds with communal gardens and a porch, a wellness center and exercise room, a whirlpool, and a fireside living room. Additional conveniences include an on-site barber and beauty shop, a library, movie room, private dining room for family events, internet access, postal services, flat-screen TVs, a piano, and keypad entry for security. On-site religious services, a pharmacy, and a dedicated key-staffed reception area offer further support.
