Majestic Care of Sheridan is a dedicated memory-care community that supports residents living with all stages of dementia, including advanced conditions. The clinical team can accommodate individuals who wander during the day or night, display exit-seeking behaviors, become combative, or remain awake overnight. Nurses manage complex medical needs such as wound care, oxygen therapy, strict or specialty diets, and diabetes—whether controlled by oral medications, insulin injections, or sliding-scale protocols. The community also welcomes adults younger than 60 who require memory-care services, and care plans are adapted to each resident’s medical profile.
Round-the-clock oversight is delivered by RNs and LPNs, with a licensed nurse on site 24 hours a day. All employees undergo background checks, and an awake night staff can respond to pull-cord alerts, door alarms, and WanderGuard technology. The grounds include a fenced rear area for safe outdoor access. On-site clinicians provide podiatry, audiology, dental services, and therapy sessions, and the community accepts residents with co-existing psychiatric diagnoses. Caregivers offer full assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, while residents who can self-feed receive support as needed. Transfer capabilities range from supervision and walker aid to two-person or full Hoyer-lift transfers, and bed-bound residents can be accommodated.
Accommodations include furnished or unfurnished suites with private bathrooms, individual climate controls, and cable service. Residents may personalize their space by painting or decorating, and housekeeping and scheduled laundry services are provided. Because floor plans vary, not every room contains every feature, so families should verify availability during a tour.
Meals are prepared in both set-menu and made-to-order formats, with snacks offered throughout the day. Residents can dine in the main restaurant, a private dining room for family gatherings, or in their own rooms if preferred. The culinary staff accommodates dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-soft, puréed, and thickened-liquid diets, coordinating closely with the nursing team to match each resident’s clinical needs.
Residents have access to outdoor smoking areas, fully wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, high-speed internet, and landscaped communal gardens. On-site religious services, concierge assistance, and special-interest clubs provide additional engagement. Scheduled transportation is available for medical appointments and community outings.
