Ashford Place Health Campus offers three levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care—under one roof. Residents who need help with daily activities will find structured support in Assisted Living, those who want a maintenance-free lifestyle with optional services can choose Independent Living, and individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias have a secure, specialized Memory Care neighborhood. This range allows couples with different needs or residents whose needs change over time to remain on the same campus without another disruptive move.
The campus maintains 24-hour clinical oversight and is equipped to manage a broad spectrum of medical situations. Nurses are on site around the clock, and licensed staff are trained to respond to wandering, elopement risks, combative or other behavioral issues, and residents who are awake all night. The team can also handle wound care, oxygen management, and diabetes management—whether oral medication, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. Younger adults under 60 are accepted when appropriate, and the Memory Care unit supports advanced dementia. Rooms are equipped with pull cords and personal emergency response systems, exits are alarmed and the rear area is fenced for added safety. On-site podiatry, audiology, dental services and a therapy room reduce the need for outside trips. Full-assistance is available for bathing, dressing and toileting, while eating support is designed for residents able to feed themselves. Mobility needs from standby assistance to one-person transfers with walkers or wheelchairs are accommodated.
Living quarters vary in size and layout; some include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, in-unit laundry and independent temperature controls, while others offer shared amenities—prospective residents should verify specific features during a tour. Cable service, regular housekeeping and scheduled laundry are provided, and residents may paint or decorate their rooms to create a familiar setting.
Meals are prepared daily with both set menus and made-to-order options, and snacks are available throughout the day. In-room dining and a private dining room can be arranged for illness or family gatherings, and vegetarian selections are always included. Independent Living residents can opt into medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry service and a monthly meal plan, allowing them to customize the amount of support they receive.
Campus amenities include resident parking, wheelchair-accessible common areas, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, concierge desk, library, special-interest clubs and scheduled transportation. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
