Residences at Deer Creek offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care under one roof, allowing residents to remain on the same campus as their needs change. The community accepts individuals with moderate dementia and provides interventions for elopement risk as well as support for residents who manage diabetes with oral medications.
Daily oversight is reinforced by an RN or LPN on site, a nurse available around the clock, and awake night-shift staffing. Care plans can include medication management, incontinence services, ambulatory assistance, hospice coordination, and therapies from occupational, physical, and podiatric specialists. Bathing and dressing can be provided with full assistance, toileting with some physical help, and staff can supervise or aid transfers using walkers, wheelchairs, standby support, or one-person lifts. Pull-cord alert systems connect residents directly to staff at any hour.
Apartments are equipped with practical features such as kitchenettes and cable access, and every unit receives housekeeping and scheduled laundry; however, not all apartments include every listed feature, so families should confirm during a tour. Independent Living residents may opt for medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, personal laundry, and a monthly meal plan tailored to lighter support needs.
Meals are served three times daily from a set menu, and an on-order option lets residents request alternatives. A private dining room is available for family gatherings or special events. Independent Living participants who choose the monthly meal plan can access the same dining venues and menu choices as Assisted Living residents.
Residents have access to on-site parking, wheelchair-accommodated common areas, a barber and beauty salon, an exercise room, a dedicated movie room, community-wide internet, concierge services, and scheduled transportation for medical appointments and errands.
