Brookdale Marion is an assisted-living community that supports residents with routine daily needs and a range of targeted health programs. Care options include standard Assisted Living services as well as short-term respite stays, diabetes management and access to a speech therapist.
Additional health resources are available on site, including incontinence and ambulatory care, memory care oversight, hospice coordination and comprehensive medication management. A licensed nurse is on duty, and residents may work with occupational and physical therapists or schedule podiatry visits. The building is secured, featuring a 24-hour security system, keypad entry and a perimeter designed for residents who may be at risk for wandering.
Apartments vary in size and layout. Some feature wheelchair-accessible showers, kitchenettes, air conditioning, cable or satellite TV, Wi-Fi and access to computer stations. Select units are pet friendly, and common areas include a central fireplace, piano, porch, landscaped grounds and on-site parking. Because floor plans differ, not every accommodation offers every feature listed.
Meals are prepared on site, and the culinary team can serve vegan, gluten-free, low-sodium, no-sugar and other special diets. All-day dining is available, and guests can join residents for meals when scheduled in advance.
Residents have use of indoor and outdoor walking paths, a swimming pool, library and computer lounge, activity and fitness rooms and organized clubs. The calendar typically includes yoga or chair yoga, happy hour, karaoke, live music, intergenerational programs, birthday celebrations and off-site social outings.
