Waterford Place Health Campus delivers three levels of residential care—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so residents can remain in the same community even as needs change. The health campus is equipped to manage advanced dementia and a wide range of medical conditions, including residents who wander at any time of day, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral issues, those who are up all night, and individuals under 60 who need a supportive setting. Skilled clinical staff monitor wound care, oxygen therapy, and diabetic management for oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin.
Clinical coverage is reinforced by an RN or LPN presence around the clock, with an on-site nurse on duty 24 hours a day for medication administration, assessment, and urgent issues. Background-checked staff members remain awake overnight, and resident safety is supported by door alarms, fenced outdoor areas, pull-cord systems, and personal emergency response devices. A dedicated Activity Director designs structured engagement, while podiatry services are provided on site. Assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting is available up to full support. Transfers are accommodated for residents who use walkers, wheelchairs, or who require standby, one-person, two-person, or bed-bound assistance.
Apartments vary in size and layout; some include private bathrooms, kitchenettes, furnished basics, individual climate controls, cable connections, and the option to paint or decorate. Because features differ from unit to unit, prospective residents should review floor plans to confirm specific amenities. Meals are offered through both a daily set menu and an on-order option, and snacks are accessible between meal times. Independent Living residents may elect medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, laundry service, and a monthly meal plan so they can keep their focus on preferred activities rather than everyday chores.
The campus maintains resident parking, is wheelchair accessible throughout, and welcomes pets; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed. An on-site barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, internet access, and communal gardens provide multiple places to gather or pursue individual interests. Regular religious services are held within the community, and scheduled transportation helps residents reach medical appointments, shopping venues, and local events.
