Snyder Village is a continuing care retirement community that offers three core living options—Independent Living for residents who need no regular assistance, Assisted Living for those who benefit from help with daily activities, and a secure Memory Care neighborhood for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Because all three settings are located on the same campus, residents can transition between levels of care without leaving familiar surroundings, and couples with different needs can remain close to one another.
Beyond the basic levels of care, the community maintains a broad clinical program. Short-term Respite stays are accepted, and individualized Levels of Care are adjusted as needs change. On-site nurses coordinate medication management, wound care, diabetes monitoring, ambulatory care, and incontinence support. Licensed therapists provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy, while massage therapy, podiatry, and dental services are scheduled on campus. Hospice support is available when required, and resident or family counseling is offered to help navigate difficult decisions. All services are documented through an electronic medication administration record to promote accuracy and safety.
Residences vary from studio suites to larger apartments and cottages. Select units feature balconies, patios, or decks, and many are equipped with kitchenettes, individually controlled heat and air, wheelchair-accessible showers, and other handicap-accessible design elements. Central air conditioning, parking, and well-maintained outdoor areas are standard across the campus, and some common areas include a billiards lounge, piano, and central fireplace. Not every accommodation contains every listed feature, so prospective residents are encouraged to review specific floor plans during a visit.
Dining is provided three times daily, with restaurant-style service in the main dining room and an all-day bistro for lighter fare. Meals are included in the monthly fee, and guest meals, BBQs, picnics, and an ice-cream parlor extend the food options for residents and visitors. Menus are designed to align with individual dietary needs, and clinical staff coordinate closely with dining services when specialized nutritional oversight is required.
Recreational and social programming is organized around an activity center that hosts arts and crafts, bingo, TV and movie nights, fitness programs, and holiday parties. Residents can join clubs, community service programs, walking clubs, and organized day trips or other social outings. A library and computer lounge supports quiet study or internet use, while the indoor swimming pool provides year-round aquatic exercise. These offerings are intended to balance daily structure with personal choice.
