Lacey Creek Supportive Living is an assisted-living community designed to help residents who need day-to-day support while remaining as independent as possible. The community is equipped to work with residents who use oxygen, manage diabetes with either oral medications or insulin injections, and those who live with mild dementia conditions. Assisted living services are flexible, allowing residents to receive the specific level of help they need without losing control of their routines.
Care delivery is backed by a 24-hour nurse on call, background-checked staff, and an awake night shift that can be reached through in-room pull cords. On-site services include visiting dentists, podiatrists, occupational and physical therapists, and professionals who provide incontinence management, ambulatory care, memory care, and medication management. Staff can help with bathing, dressing, and toileting when some physical assistance is necessary, and they provide standby supervision for eating. Transfers are accommodated for residents who walk independently, use a walker or wheelchair, need standby oversight, or require a one-person assist.
Accommodations are designed for privacy and comfort. Apartments may feature a private bathroom, a kitchenette for light meal preparation, and independent temperature controls, though not every unit includes every feature. Residents can furnish and decorate their spaces to suit personal preferences while having maintenance handled by the community.
Dining follows a restaurant-style approach with three daily meals included, and guests can join residents for a meal when arranged in advance. Menus are developed to address nutrition needs common among older adults, including options that account for diabetic considerations and other dietary directives ordered by physicians.
Amenities aim to streamline daily life and support social engagement. The building is wheelchair accessible and houses a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, outdoor patio, country store, library/computer room, activity and game rooms, and free resident laundry rooms. Residents receive weekly housekeeping and personal laundry services, medication set-up and reminders, and have access to a tax-credit program that can lower monthly costs. Three restaurant-style meals are served each day with snacks available between meals.
