Evergreen Place and The Legacy Memory Care provide two core levels of support: Assisted Living for residents who benefit from help with daily activities and Memory Care designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of cognitive decline. Both service lines are backed by diabetes monitoring, on-site speech therapy, and options for short-term respite stays, allowing families to secure temporary care when needed. Residents are assessed on admission and throughout their stay so the team can adjust to changing levels of care without requiring a disruptive move.
A secured community layout supports safety, particularly for those with memory loss who may wander. On-site clinicians and outside providers visit regularly for medication coordination and management, hospice services, incontinence and ambulatory care, physical and occupational therapy, and podiatry. Apartments and common areas are built to reduce confusion for memory-care residents, and staff remain on duty around the clock.
Housing is offered in a range of floor plans. Some residences include kitchenettes, wheelchair-accessible or roll-in showers, Wi-Fi, individual climate controls, and direct access to outdoor areas such as the butterfly garden or courtyard; however, not every unit has every feature. The property is pet-friendly and provides surface parking for drivers, while interior spaces feature a central fireplace, piano or organ, and multiple seating nooks for visits.
Dining follows a chef-prepared, restaurant-style approach with all-day service and the option to order guest meals. Menus rotate to accommodate nutritional needs and resident preferences, and specialized diets can be coordinated with clinical staff when medically required.
Residents have access to fitness programs, indoor and outdoor walking paths, yoga and chair-yoga classes, raised garden beds, and an activity center that hosts karaoke, happy hour, dances, birthday parties, and live-music events. Reminiscence and sensory-based programs are part of the Memory Care calendar, and intergenerational activities, social outings, clubs, and community groups are scheduled throughout the month. A library and computer lounge support quiet hobbies, while the swimming pool offers low-impact exercise opportunities.
