Montgomery Place Continuing Care Retirement Community delivers three levels of residential care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—and can adjust services as needs change. Clinical support extends to residents who wander during the day or night, have elopement risk, stay up all night, or require wound care, oxygen therapy, or specialized diets. The nursing team also manages diabetes by oral medication, injections, or sliding scale and accepts adults under 60 who need the same safeguards. Advanced dementia conditions are accommodated within the Memory Care program, which combines behavior monitoring with structured routines and secure surroundings.
The community keeps a registered or licensed nurse on duty around the clock, with an additional nurse on call after hours. All staff undergo background checks, and the night shift remains awake. Safety measures include fenced grounds at the front and rear, alarmed doors, WanderGuard technology, pull cords, and personal emergency response systems that link directly to staff. On-site clinical services bring podiatry, audiology, dental care, and a therapy room to the campus, reducing outside appointments. Residents who need help with bathing, dressing, eating, or toileting can receive full assistance, and transfer support ranges from standby for walker users to two-person or Hoyer-lift transfers for bed-bound individuals.
Apartments may feature a private bathroom, kitchenette, furnished living space, independent temperature controls, cable service, and the option to paint or decorate, but not every unit includes every feature. Housekeeping is provided, and residents can choose in-unit laundry or rely on scheduled laundry service.
Meals are available from a set menu or prepared to order, with snacks offered throughout the day. In-room dining and a private dining room are available for those who prefer them. The kitchen can handle gluten-free, vegetarian, mechanical-chop, puréed, and thickened-liquid diets. Independent Living residents may opt into medication-management monitoring, weekly housekeeping, laundry service, and a monthly meal plan.
Amenities include resident parking, outside smoking areas, wheelchair-accessible common spaces, a barber and beauty shop, exercise room, movie room, wellness center, internet access, communal gardens, on-site religious services, concierge desk, library, heated pool, and a variety of special-interest clubs. Transportation options cover scheduled shuttle trips for medical visits and proximity to public transit. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
