Clarendale Six Corners delivers three levels of residential support—Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care—so residents can remain on one campus even if their health changes. The Memory Care program is structured to serve individuals with early, moderate, or advanced dementia, offering a secure environment and specialized engagement alongside the broader services available to Assisted Living and Independent Living residents.
Clinical capabilities are extensive. Staff members manage residents who wander during the day or night, attempt elopement, display combative behavior, stay awake overnight, or require oxygen therapy. Special diets are prepared, and diabetes care is supported for those on oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale insulin. An RN or LPN is on duty 24/7, complemented by an awake night shift, door alarms, wander-guard technology, pull-cord call systems, and full background checks on employees. Caregivers provide hands-on help with bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting and can perform walker and wheelchair assists, standby supervision, or a one-person transfer as needed.
Apartments are built for accessibility and safety, with many offering a kitchenette and a washer/dryer in the unit, though not every floor plan includes both features. Independent Living residents receive weekly housekeeping, and maintenance is handled by on-site staff, reducing everyday chores and repairs for all residents.
Meals are ordered from a menu at each sitting, allowing residents to choose dishes that fit their tastes and physician-directed diet plans. Snacks are available throughout the day, and a private dining room can be reserved for family gatherings. Diet modifications are overseen by culinary staff trained to support diabetic, low-sodium, or other physician-ordered regimens, and Independent Living residents can opt into a monthly meal plan that covers a set number of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
A wide range of amenities rounds out daily life: resident parking, outdoor smoking areas, and pet-friendly policies; wheelchair-accessible common areas; a barber and beauty shop; an exercise room, movie room, and wellness center; internet access, a library, communal gardens, and on-site religious services. Scheduled transportation connects residents to appointments and neighborhood destinations. It’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
