Sunabella of Towne Lake is an Assisted Living community prepared to work with residents who need close clinical oversight. The team regularly manages wandering behaviors during the day or night, elopement risk, combative or other behavioral issues, and residents who remain awake overnight. Caregivers are trained to monitor and assist people who are on oxygen therapy, require wound care, follow physician-ordered special diets, or manage diabetes by oral medications, injections, or sliding-scale coverage. The community can also serve adults under 60, and it supports residents living with mild dementia.
Clinical coverage continues around the clock with an awake night shift, 24-hour security, and a personal emergency response system that alerts staff. On-site services include routine assisted-living oversight, medication management, incontinence care, ambulatory and memory care programs, hospice coordination, and an enclosed courtyard designed for safe outdoor access. A registered nurse, physical and occupational therapists, and a visiting podiatrist are part of the regular support network. Residents who need full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, or toileting receive that help, and transfers are accommodated whether the individual uses a walker, wheelchair, needs standby assistance, or requires one- or two-person transfers.
Apartments vary, but many offer individual temperature controls so residents can set their own comfort level. Housekeeping is provided, and scheduled laundry services keep clothing and linens clean; however, not every unit includes all of these features, so prospective residents should confirm availability during a tour.
Three daily meals are prepared on site and served restaurant-style, with healthy snacks available between meals. The kitchen honors a wide range of dietary orders including kosher, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, low-sodium, no-sugar, and other physician-directed plans, and room service is available for residents who prefer or require in-room dining.
Additional conveniences include an on-site barber and beauty shop for routine grooming and personal care, as well as regularly scheduled religious services held within the community for residents who choose to participate.
