Antebellum Grove Senior Living delivers two primary levels of support: Assisted Living for residents who need help with everyday tasks and Memory Care for those coping with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Both programs are backed by a Mental Wellness Program, on-site physical and speech therapy, diabetes management, and access to respite or short-term stays. Staff members receive specialized memory-care training, and a Wander Guard system helps reduce the risk of unsupervised exits for residents who may be prone to wandering.
Residents have access to 12–16 hours of on-site nursing each day, routine medication management, incontinence and ambulatory care, and coordination with hospice when needed. Occupational and physical therapists, a podiatrist, and a dedicated wellness center support ongoing health goals. An enclosed courtyard offers a secure outdoor option for Memory Care residents, while pet-focused programs add another layer of emotional support. The community’s wellness program tracks individual progress and adjusts care plans as conditions change.
Apartments vary in size and layout, and not every unit includes every feature, but options can include kitchenettes, washer and dryer, cable or satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and phone hookups. Most residences are air-conditioned, and many have wheelchair-accessible showers. Outdoor areas such as a garden, butterfly garden, and resident parking are available, and cats are permitted in designated units. Shared indoor spaces include a library and computer lounge as well as a piano or organ for resident use.
Dining is handled on site with three daily meals and an all-day dining option for late risers or early diners. Menus can be adjusted for vegetarian preferences, low-sodium or no-sugar needs, and guest meals are available upon request. Seasonal cookouts, barbecues, and picnics give residents the choice to dine outdoors when weather permits, and hydration stations remain accessible throughout the day.
Daily life is rounded out by an activity center, fitness programs, indoor and outdoor walking paths, and a swimming pool for low-impact exercise. Residents can join scheduled social outings, clubs, and birthday celebrations, or attend movie nights in the theater room and happy hour or wine-tasting events in common areas. Health and wellness programs include light therapy, Montessori-based activities, reminiscence sessions, and Live Well initiatives that encourage cognitive and physical engagement.
