Brookdale Rome is an assisted-living community that centers its services on everyday clinical oversight. Residents can access diabetes care, a mental wellness program, physical and occupational therapy, wound care, speech therapy, podiatry, and hospice support without leaving the building. Nursing coverage is in place 12–16 hours each day, and the community is able to serve individuals living with moderate dementia who benefit from structured routines and medication management.
An RN or LPN is on staff and a licensed nurse is on site around the clock, backed by 24-hour security personnel. Team members provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, along with incontinence and ambulatory care. Transfer help is available for those using walkers or wheelchairs or who only need standby supervision. The staff also handles laundry, dry-cleaning, and routine medication administration.
Apartments range from studio and efficiency layouts to ground-floor units, each with central air conditioning and access to community Wi-Fi. Some residences include kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs with cable, wheelchair-accessible showers, and in-unit washers and dryers, while others are more streamlined; not every apartment contains every feature. Common areas include indoor lounges, a porch, library and computer space, and landscaped grounds with walking paths and gardens.
Meals follow a set menu, and the culinary team can modify diets as ordered by a physician. Residents dine in a communal setting, and help with eating is available for those who need it. Staff monitor intake to support diabetes management or other clinical nutrition plans, and snacks are on hand between meals.
Amenities add day-to-day convenience: resident parking, surface parking for guests, a barber and beauty shop, fireside living room, piano, community room, private dining room, postal services, porch seating, library, game room, communal gardens, and walking paths, all under a 24-hour security system. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
