Greenwood Place offers both Assisted Living and Memory Care, giving residents the option of day-to-day support or a secure setting designed for cognitive decline. Medical resources built into the program include specialized memory-care training for staff, respite and short-term stay options, a mental-wellness program, diabetes management, regular physician oversight, and on-site speech therapy. The community accepts residents who live with advanced dementia conditions and can adjust care plans as needs change.
Clinical infrastructure extends to a licensed nurse presence, background-checked team members awake through the night, and emergency response systems that reach staff by pull cord or personal pendant. On site, residents have access to 12- to 16-hour nursing coverage, medication management, a dentist, podiatrist, physical, occupational and massage therapy, incontinence and ambulatory care, and coordinated hospice services when appropriate. Full assistance is available for bathing, dressing, eating and toileting, and the secured courtyard allows Memory Care residents to spend time outdoors without leaving the protected perimeter.
Apartment styles vary from studios to larger layouts, some with kitchenettes, bath tubs or wheelchair-accessible showers, and all are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi, cable or satellite television, phone hookups and resident parking are available, and common areas such as an indoor atrium, TV lounge, library and computer center provide additional space to socialize or relax. Because floor plans differ, not every accommodation contains every listed feature.
Dining operates on an all-day schedule with meals prepared by a professional chef and served restaurant style. Residents may choose international dishes, low-sodium or no-sugar selections, or join special dining programs in the café bistro or private dining room. Guest meals are welcome, and the kitchen can adjust menus for medical or cultural requirements when requested.
Amenities include a barber and beauty shop, fitness and exercise room, movie room, library and landscaped communal gardens where residents can visit or walk. Pets are allowed; it’s a good idea to check with the community during your visit to see if your pet will be allowed.
